Tactile Premise
In this series, I depict feelings as if in a physical reality, groping to find a way to connect with others in daily life. I described organic figures as metaphors of my individual physical sense and desire to communicate with others. Organic forms are symbolized as food– in this case, food as an object. It exists outside the subject. We eat it, and it acts directly, translating energy into the body. In other words, it is an action of assimilation between two life forms. We absorb it unconsciously every day. From this it follows that the environment of daily life can be described as the interface of assimilation. The working process of producing platinum prints – mixing and coating solutions to a brush and then exposing them with ultraviolet rays – has created a continuance of my physical feelings by encoding my visual expressions with, explicitly confirming my tactile senses that lead to my desire.

タクタイル・プレミス：　触覚の前提
画面の有機的なイメージは身体感覚の形容である。
それは、直接的には食べ物そのものの身体（個体）であり、
同時にそれを取り込んだ主体の身体感覚である。
私たちは、食べる。
お腹がすいて、食べる。

手を伸ばしてつかみ取り、食べる。
食物は、食べるという行為を通して身体に直接作用する。
外部エネルギーを変換し、取り込むという意味で、
あるいはそれを受容する器官はとともに、食物もまた、
インターフェース（相互に作用をおよぼす領域）のひとつである。

ふだん生活するの空間の中で、食べると言う行為と
身体が他者とつながりたいという希求と、
介在する食物を隠喩的表現を模索した。

複数のイメージを同一フィルムに焼き付け、
身体そのものが外部と作用しているという状態と、
その身体性を持った意識が他者とコミュニケートするという多義性を表現できないかと試みた。
また、ケミカルを調合し塗布、紫外線によって感光させるオルタナティヴ・プリントの手法は,
その一連のアナログ作業のプロセスが
より具体的で連続性をもった制作者の身体感覚を増幅させるものでもあった。
